Our Mission
Our mission is in agreement with the three pillars of Christ for the City International, that there be:
- No place without a witness
- No church without a vision
- No person without hope
Our Vision
- To help restore people’s self-worth in Christ through medical outreaches, training opportunities, and social justice efforts
- To promote the unity of the Body of Christ, the church, in Nicaragua
- To serve alongside national ministries, churches, and other committed workers so that together we can extend the Kingdom of God in Nicaragua
Our Focus
Our focus is directed towards the area of training. We are committed to the responsibility of inspiring, instructing, and modeling godly behavior in ministry to Nicaraguans and national churches. Who’s a candidate for training? Nicaraguans — especially leaders in the church — who lack information, instruction, formation, structure, a specific ability, or vision. This focus is implemented under the principle of mutual respect and according to the philosophy that we join God where He is already working.
Our Team
CFCI-Nicaragua is not made of wood, brick, or cement, but people — Alcides, Sileny, Fabricio, Claudia, Bob, Johanna, Nathan, Amber, Mary, and Carey — with all of their talents, abilities, passions, styles, faults, limitations, weaknesses, and strengths working together for the same purpose. It is a “building” held together through the support of one another in love, respect, and harmony. The foundation of this building is solid rock, Christ Jesus our Lord.
