CFCI-Nicaragua Prayer Requests

We appreciate your ongoing prayers for the ministry of Christ for the City International in Nicaragua! We rely on our team of prayer warriors for encouragement and support. Here is our current list of prayer requests and praise reports:
- Team unity. Pray that the CFCI-Nicaragua team will be united in purpose, passion, and vision as we serve together in ministry. And pray for the ministry to seek and remain in the Lord’s will in the upcoming year.
- Future missions. Pray for the future leaders and members of short-term missions teams. Pray that Christians will listen to God, have open hearts, and be faithful in following the Lord’s calling to serve in missions. And especially pray for the upcoming teams from Literacy & Evangelism International, Grace Church, and Hope Center Covenant Church.
- Church follow-up. Pray for the churches that hosted mission trips already this year as they follow-up with people who attended outreaches.
- Youth leadership development. Please pray for the youth leadership development ministry, led by Fabricio, raising up youth leaders from Nicaraguan churches.
- Carey’s car. Carey is $1,000 away from being able to purchase a truck! We are praying that she can raise the money and find a truck by the end of October!
- The security of Carey and Mary’s house. After the break-in, Carey and Mary are trying to figure out how to make their home more secure.
- Nathan & Amber’s adoption. Please pray for Nathan and Amber as they continue the process of adopting a child from Nicaragua.
- Amber’s grandfather. Pray for Amber’s grandfather, Scott, who has Alzheimers.
