Old and New

Today I made some observations about how my days have changed through my years of living in Nicaragua.
Day in the life of the OLD Carey:
4 am gym
5:30 head to work
Teach all day
Work on lesson plans, grading etc until 4:30pm
6:30 Church or Bible study
8:30 eat dinner and grade papers
10:00 bead time

“A Night of Worship”

One of the most inspiring, moving, Spirit-led worship experiences of my life occurred a couple of weeks ago during the Seacoast medical mission trip at the Nueva Jerusalén Church.  It was twenty Americans and two hundred Nicaraguans praising God.
No inhibitions.
No concerns about a language barrier.
No holding back.
Just singing to our Lord and Savior.

We finished the “summer tsunami” of short-term mission teams…and live to tell about it! Amber served with two medical teams since out last newsletter – one from Grace Church, one from Seacoast. Moving at a Snail’s Pace
